Living Life to the Full

A unique element of ILG is the highly-acclaimed social activity, continuing education and learning pathway programmes.

We are committed to helping all service users lead a fulfilling lifestyle that will assist them in achieving their own personal aspirations. We work closely to identify current hobbies and interests as well as discuss service users' long-term goals and ambitions.

With these in mind, we then develop a social activity programme, which will help them not only maintain and develop existing skills but strive to lead a more active life.

The wide range of activities includes art and craft, swimming, horse riding, trampoline, cookery, woodwork, photography and music, to name just a few, which take place in the local community as well as at the home.

Structured learning, educational courses and occupational opportunities are also available that promote independent living and personal development. Some service users opt to attend local colleges to undertake courses that interest them, in addition to pursuing work experience placements.
