ILG's Guide to Managing a Successful Transition

ILG has created a five-page advice guide, as published in the January edition of Progress magazine, which has been designed to offer advice, guidance and support to any parent or guardian about to embark on the journey of transitioning their son or daughter from home to long-term residential care.

The guide provides an outline of initial areas that need to be considered, including questions parents should ask care providers when meeting them for the first time and tips on what care homes should be offering, to meet the individual needs of their son or daughter.
